Put your soccer knowledge to the test with this year’s DAAD social media contest! In honor of Germany hosting this year’s UEFA Men’s European Football Championship, we invite you to join the #DAADBracketChallenge. The winner will receive roundtrip airfare to Germany from the US or Canada!

The UEFA European Championship, aka EURO 2024 or the Euros, is a soccer tournament that takes place every four years that determines the continental champion of Europe. This year, it’s Germany’s turn to host the second most-watched tournament in soccer. Join the excitement and follow the tournament by entering the #DAADBracketChallenge!

First prize will win roundtrip airfare to anywhere in Germany, second prize will receive a free language course at the Goethe-Institut, and third prize will receive a Germany National Football Team shirt! See the official rules below for more information on prizes.

Submit your bracket between Monday, May 13 at 9:00am EDT and Thursday, June 13 at 11:59pm EDT. The games begin on June 14, with the champion crowned one month later on July 14.

To enter, download the bracket worksheet below and fill in your predictions for the winners of the Group Stage and Knockout Stage. Each correct prediction is awarded points, and the player with the most points at the end of the tournament will be crowned the winner!

Here’s how to enter:

Download the Bracket Instructions and the Bracket Worksheet (Download at the bottom of the page)
Fill in Page 1 of the worksheet with your predictions for the top two finishers in each group
Move to Page 2 and fill in the bracket with your predictions from the Group Stage
Predict the winners of each game in the Knockout Stage
Upload your completed Bracket Worksheet by June 13 at 11:59pm EDT using this form
Follow the tournament this summer to see if your predictions were correct!

To enter, you must be 18 years or older and enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s or master’s program in the United States or Canada. Recent graduates who received their degree in spring 2024 may also enter.

Each participant may only submit one bracket.

Brackets may be submitted between Monday, May 13 at 9:00am EDT and Thursday, June 13 at 11:59pm EDT.
