Research Grants are awarded to highly qualified candidates who have completed a Master's degree or Diplom, or in exceptional cases a Bachelor's degree at the latest by the time they begin their grant-supported research, or those who have already completed a PhD (postdocs), or to individuals wishing to earn a doctoral degree in Germany.

Long-Term Research Grants

A long-term research grant can offer you the chance to pursue a 7-10 month research project in Germany, or even a full doctoral degree program through either our Research Grants for Doctoral or Cotutelle Doctoral Programs in Germany.
