DAAD offers language learning grants to faculty members in all academic fields except German Studies, German Language and Literature, and German Translation and Interpretation to attend intensive language courses at various Goethe-Institut locations in Germany. Four-week courses are offered year-round.

Dr. Richards-Wilson is the Director of Graduate Business Programs at Alverno College where she holds a tenure-track faculty position. She has been awarded several fellowships including two from DAAD.
Roger graduated from the University of Manitoba with an MA in Political Science and was awarded a DAAD scholarship to pursue a PhD in Göttingen. In 2016, Roger published a two-volume book, based on his research in Göttingen, titled “Germany and the Significance of the First World War.”

Her research interests center on performance, theater, and festival in contemporary German culture. As a DAAD Research Ambassador, she helps advise students and fellow researchers on going abroad to Germany.
