The Goethe-Institut’s Studienbrücke program is specifically designed to prepare students from abroad wishing to embark directly on a course of study in Germany.
Roger graduated from the University of Manitoba with an MA in Political Science and was awarded a DAAD scholarship to pursue a PhD in Göttingen. In 2016, Roger published a two-volume book, based on his research in Göttingen, titled “Germany and the Significance of the First World War.”
Successful training session
The DAAD Young Ambassadors Workshop 2017 took place in New York City from August 16 – 19, 2017. Twenty-three students from all over the U.S. as well as six students from Canada participated in the three-day training sessions in New York City.
A warm welcome for our new cohort of DAAD Young Ambassadors! During the upcoming academic year 2017/18, these undergraduate students from all across the US and Canada have volunteered to promote study in Germany at their home universities.
