The DAAD Young Ambassador Program is an exciting opportunity for undergraduate and Master's students from North America who have recently studied or interned in Germany and are interested in promoting study in Germany at their home institutions with the help of DAAD and in close cooperation with their universities’ international/study abroad offices or a professor.
DAAD is currently accepting nominations for the 2019-20 Young Ambassadors from university study abroad and international offices.
Only one student may be nominated per college or university. The current Young Ambassadors from Carleton University (ON), University of Waterloo (ON), University of North Carolina at Greensboro (NC), and University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (NC) will be continuing their tenure in the 2019-2020 academic year, so we will unfortunately not be accepting applications from these universities.
Please note: the program is now also open to Master’s students who can be nominated by a professor. Undergraduate students should be nominated by their study abroad/international office.
The application deadline for the program is April 15, 2019.
For more detailed information on the program and the application process, see DAAD Young Ambassador Program
Please feel free to contact Ethan Grandel at firstname.lastname@example.org should you have any questions.
We look forward to receiving your nominations!
