Sand dune and house at the Baltic Sea coastline in Germany.

Do you have happy memories of a particular place in Germany? Last year we asked Germany-Alumni to tell us about their favorite places in Germany.  And many of you shared their best memories with the community.

“My favourite places in Germany included Freiburg where I had my language course. This small beautiful town near the Black Forrest was an astounding place. We had gone to a small lake called Titisee which was unforgettable.” (Dr. Meena Bakshi from India)

“My best memories are linked to Oberhausen, a very nice and cosy industrial town in North Rhine-Westphalia. The sights are fascinating and breath taking. It feels like eternity and that is why I am truly in love with this city.”
(Yewa Glushchenko from Ukraine)

This year we would like to learn more about your favorite places in Germany. Show us and the community your favorites with a great photo and tell us what makes the place so special to you.

Whether a big city or a village, whether your study place or a trip destination – we look forward to your contributions! The most beautiful pictures will be published in a gallery on the Alumniportal Deutschland.
