INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS & SCHOLARS IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA:
The DAAD New York office and scholarships listed on the www.daad.org website serve the academic communities of Canada and the United States only. In most cases international students and scholars at North American universities are eligible for scholarships through our office. If you are a citizen of another country AND have a full-time affiliation with an American or Canadian university (full-time enrollment in studies, engaged as a researcher, employed as faculty, etc), please send us an email with your citizenship, university at which you are enrolled, current level of study, how many years you have been in Canada/US, and the name of the DAAD program in which you are interested so that we can help determine your eligibility.
CANADIAN AND US CITIZENS IN OTHER COUNTRIES:
Regional divisions for DAAD programs are mostly based on the country in which a potential applicant is enrolled at university. However, if you find that the DAAD office serving the country in which you are studying is unable to accommodate your interest in a program, please email us to inquire about your eligibility.
