Veronica from Montana State University studied Architecture and German at the Eberhard-Karls Universität at Tuebingen from October 2004 to July 2005.
During her grant, Veronica took the initiative to construct and perform independent studies of European architecture with a focus on architectural characteristics that have resulted from implementing sustainable building practices as well as from socio-cultural use of architecture as a communication device.

A member of the National Society for Collegiate Scholars since her freshman year, Veronica was elected to Phi Kappa Phi her junior year and has been recognized by Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society for excellence among architecture students. In addition to pursuing a B.A. in Environmental Design and a second B.A. in German, Veronica is pursuing her graduate degree in Architecture and plans on completing all three degrees within five years. A Wyoming native, Veronica loves the outdoors and literally all athletics. She has participated in over 10 sports at a competitive level, from soccer and tennis to gymnastics and body building, and loves to ski and rock climb. When time allows, she enjoys playing the piano and teaching herself how to fiddle.
