Lisa from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse studied German and English at the Philipps University of Marburg from October 2004 to July 2005.
and is completing her undergraduate majors of German, English and pre-middle level/secondary education. For the past eight years she has studied German in school and was accepted to the Wisconsin-Hessen Exchange Program for the 2004-2005 academic year. Lisa is studying at the Philipps Universität in Marburg and plans to take German and English courses as well as an additional foreign language course.
She is a member of both the Golden Key International Honour Society and Delta Phi Alpha, a national honor society for students of German. As a future educator she looks forward to providing her students with a knowledgeable background of German culture and language.
Lisa would like to teach English as a Second Language and possibly go on to law school after completing her undergraduate degrees. She finds global issues critically important and looks forward to learning about the perspective of the European people on many different issues.
Lisa's hobbies and interests include politics, the environment, art, outdoor activities such as horseback riding, jogging, and participating in team sports.
