How has your time in the US affected your academic/professional career path?
It enabled me to build a US network, familiarize myself with the US business culture and receive a cutting edge education in business administration at Kellogg.
What's the most important piece of advice you could give a new DAAD grantee?
Go out and familiarize yourself with the new culture, network, have fun!
What was your most dramatic experience of culture shock in the US?
One the positive side: How friendly and helpful people are. On the negative side: Superficial interests and conversations
Other than family/friends, what did you miss most while abroad? What do you miss from Germany now that you're back?
German food and beautiful Munich/Bavaria.
If you could go back and live your overseas adventure again, what would you do differently?
Nothing, I am very happy with the way things went.
