|
David studied at the Universitaet der Kuenste Berlin from October 06 to July 07. Originally he's from Winnipeg and attended the University of Manitoba for Graphic Design and Advertising. His website is ww.kujawastudios.com/main.html
The entire experience in Berlin was fantastic! The University (UDK) met and exceeded all of my expectations. I have nothing but positive things to say about the courses/workshops at this University. The equipment and faculty are excellent and my hometown faculty could learn a lot from them. I took so many courses that I would not of had an opportunity to take here at home (studio photography, film courses etc.) It was really great.
Because of the DAAD scholarship I was able to travel to Paris, London, Barcelona, Munich, Prague, Hamburg and Poznan and visit friends I have not seen in 5 years and have learned a lot in these cities which helped contribute to the overall experience in Europe.
I have a clear direction of what I would personally like to do with my art studies and this is due to spending time in Berlin last year. I have only said positive things about Germany to my friends so far and will continue to do so because of the great experence I had last year.
