Participants will predict the winners of each group and the results of the Knockout Stage. Each correct prediction wins points, and the participant with the most points wins!
First prize will win roundtrip airfare to anywhere in Germany, second prize will receive a free language course at the Goethe-Institut (online or in person), and third prize will receive a Germany National Football Team shirt!

Last week, DAAD and the DAAD Alumni Association USA brought a cohort of talented DAAD grantees together for this year's Sound Understanding concert at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York. These DAAD music fellows are selected in a national competition among the best students of Germany's renowned music colleges, and this yearly event allows them to come together as an ensemble to perform in one of New York's most storied venues.

DAAD’s Young Ambassadors deadline is approaching on April 25, 2024—Young Ambassadors are undergraduate students who recently studied abroad in Germany (including this coming summer) and promote study in Germany at their home colleges/universities with help from DAAD. Only one student may be nominated per college/university.

Short-Term Research Grants are awarded for one to six months to highly qualified candidates who will have completed a Master’s degree or Diploma, or in exceptional cases a Bachelor’s degree, by the time they begin their grant-supported research, or to those who have already completed a PhD (postdocs).
